Information Technology
Learning to use information and communication technologies (ICT) is a key element of schooling and is integrated into all Key Learning Areas.
Students have access to networked computers in every classroom K-6 and Interactive White Boards (IWBs) in all learning areas. All students use the 16 computers in the Library Research Centre each week to develop and practise their skills in finding and organising information, expressing themselves and communicating with others electronically. We currently have two fleets of iPads to support learning in classrooms.
The school is equipped with two Connected Classrooms, which allow for video conferencing with other schools and for virtual excursions.
Students participate in a variety of ICT activities throughout each year. By the end of their primary schooling students are able to use a wide range of computer hardware and software applications to complete complex tasks.
