Our School Library
At Leura Public School, a love of reading is promoted in many ways including encouraging children to borrow weekly from our wonderful library collection. Students are also encouraged to participate in the Premier's Reading Challenge. We also enjoy visits from well-known authors and illustrators throughout the year.
The Leura Public School's Library contains, in addition to print material, the computer lab, a video conference facility, an interactive whiteboard and a well-resourced teacher's resource room.
Our library facilitates and supports quality teaching and learning experiences for 21st century learners. Through weekly visits and guided learning activities, children from kindergarten through to Year six develop their creative, inquiry and thinking skills.
